There’s a rumor swirling around that San Diego Charger, Philip Rivers has a partially torn ACL ligament.  It was reported by Pro Football Talk, the kings of rumors in the NFL.  The team has said that the injury was a MCL strain, but who knows what the truth is until Sunday when they face the undefeated New England Patriots. 

But if he doesn’t play, there are many who believes that back up and former Tennessee Titan, Billy Volek is more than capable of leading this team to victory.  With Ladanian Tomlinson in your backfield and Antonio Gates as your tight end and a non-steroid tackling machine in Shawn Merriman on D, you have a good chance of going into a very frigid environment in New England. 

It is supposed to be be like 1000 degree below zero, so look for the running game to be more of a factor than the QBs.
