Terrell Owens defends Romo and nearly tears up at press conference
Written by Sports Dude on January 14, 2008 – 11:09 amTerrell Owens left Texas Stadium in the same condition as most Dallas Cowboys fans Sunday.
In tears.
Owens became emotional after media members grilled him about personal decisions made by quarterback Tony Romo in preparation for Sunday’s NFC playoff game against the New York Giants.
“You guys can point the finger at him. You can talk about the vacation. If you do, it’s really unfair,” Owens said in a press conference following the Cowboys’ 21-17 loss.
He made it no further before breaking down — nearly becoming inaudible.
“He’s my teammate,” Owens continues. “He’s my quarterback. We lost as a team, man. We lost as a team.”

Quincy Carter can’t leave that coke alone. His career is over and Tryone Biggums said that.
Written by Sports Dude on May 20, 2007 – 12:10 am
Found this article online where Jean-Jacques Taylor of DallasNews.com feels that Quincy Carter, former Dallas Cowboy, former NY Jet, former Georgia Bulldog has hit a dead end. We know that he has a thing for weed and coke, but he goes on to talk about how a promising QB career in the NFL has been ruined by drugs and lack of discipline.
Quincy Carter is a 29-year-old with dreams of reviving an NFL career that will never happen – no matter how much he deludes himself.
It saddens me to write that because I like Carter. We didn’t have the kind of relationship where we met for drinks regularly or communicated by phone, e-mail or text message once a week. Or even once a month.
So when he signed with the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings of arenafootball2, I viewed it as a positive. To me, it showed he was so serious about resurrecting his pro career that he was willing to humble himself and go to professional football’s lowest level, playing for $200 a week – $250, if his team won.
As usual, he screwed up.
Any fool can stay in the league as a backup QB for years and draw a pay check. But he chose something that ever since you have been a child known that if you got started with it, it would ruin your life. Remember the commercials, “This is your brain. This is your brain on drugs. Any questions?”
Now he can hang out with Tyrone Biggums, dance and smoke one everyday.

Check out the article to see how Quincy Carter ruined his life.

Tony Romo to judge the Miss Universe Pageant. Talk about digging out of a hole
Written by Sports Dude on May 18, 2007 – 11:36 pmRemember the guy, the guy who fumble the can’t miss field goal that would have propelled the Dallas Cowboys to the second round of the playoffs for the first time in years. We let me remind you:

Well, looks like he is slowly crawling out of the hole of obscurity. First they took his butterfingers off of the holding duties. Then we get news that he’s dating Carrie Underwood(She’s pretty hot).Â
And now we hear that he’s been invited to be a judge of the Miss Universe contest.
If that’s not helping to pad the wounds of last season, I don’t know will. But Tony, you’re banging a hot chick and I am sure that you will be tapping a little ass at the contest too. But I gotta do it to ya. The video of you taking the hearts of cowboy fans young and old and dumping it in a sand filled box.
Oh yes, Tony Romo Loses It.
Oh so sad, so cold. *Grins ![]()
