This is just dumb. It seems that the Yankees had to get their construction workers to go through 2 feet of cement to find a Red Sox jersey that was buried to have something to hang over the heads Yankee Fans when they enter their new stadium. But thank goodness they were tipped off on this to stop this dumb ass joke.

On Saturday, construction workers who remembered the employee, Gino Castignoli, phoned in tips about the shirt’s location. “We had anonymous people come tell us where it was, and we were able to find it,” said Frank Gramarossa, a project executive with Turner Construction, the general contractor on the site.

It took about five hours of drilling Saturday to locate the shirt under 2 feet of concrete, he said.
Trost said the Yankees had discussed possible criminal charges against Castignoli with the district attorney’s office.

“We will take appropriate action since fortunately we do know the name of the individual,” he said.

A woman who answered the phone at Castignoli’s home in the Bronx on Sunday said he was not there.

Hey, Im not a Yankee fan, but this shit has to stop when it comes to people fukking with a multi-million dollar project just to have something to chant about during the baseball season on curses and other crap.

Read more about this and I hope whoever did this gets prosecuted for this. I like pranks, but this is just dumb.
