Steve McNair DUIIt seems that Steve Mcnair, former Tennessee Titan and current Baltimore Ravens QB, was arrested Wednesday for DUI by Consent. The only thing was, HE WASN’T DRIVING! He was a passenger while McNair’s brother-in-law was driving McNair’s car.

In Tennessee, if you ride with someone who is DUI then you are arrested also for the same thing.

Under Tennessee law, the owner of the vehicle can be charged if he or she is the passenger when the driver is arrested on DUI charges. The owner can be charged even if he or she is not intoxicated, Foley said. It was not clear whether McNair was impaired.

I am always riding to Nashville and was not aware of such a law and I am assuming that he didn’t either. The real question is why McNair was not driving? This is the second time that Steve McNair has been arrested for DUI.
